With the China Life (Overseas) medical card, Insured can enjoy the cashless arrangement and free-of-payment service for medical service under the doctor network that contains of 4,000 general practitioners, specialists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, Chinese medicine practitioners, bonesetters and acupuncturists.

The insured employees can enjoy 24-hour worldwide hospitalization and life protection during business trip or traveling, whether it’s caused by sickness or accident, within or outside of Hong Kong. With this protection, your employees don't need to worry about any possible substantial medical expenses that may incur and therefore, enjoy working with your company.

After the employees upload a copy of the receipt issued with amount less than HKD10000 by the doctor by using e-claim service, the claim will be issued in one working day. In addition, after completion of online claims, claims settlement by bank autopay can be convenient and quick within 3 working days.

The reference letter to specialist outpatient is waived when Insured need specialist outpatient consultation, giving patients prompt and appropriate treatment and offering more protection for Insured’s health.

China Life (Overseas) does not set a minimum requirement for confinement period. As long as there are inpatient charges, Insured can claim the fees without having to stay in the hospital for 24 hours.

China Life (Overseas) provides influenza vaccination and health check protection in order to strengthen employees’ health. Insured can claim under outpatient benefit.

The insured employees can receive professional advice from the highest ranked medical institutions regarding their medical condition in case of critical illness, enabling them to choose the best possible solution and get well soon.  

If the insured employees need medical services in Mainland China, he/she can apply for a series of privileged services, including outpatient doctor referral service, appointment scheduling and accompanying for consultations in about 80 designated grade 3A hospitals in Mainland China, and cashless hospitalization services over 650 designated hospitals in Mainland China.

Disclaimer: Maximum limit of cashless arrangement is RMB 85,000 per hospital confinement, and is subject to approval in advance.
